I should change HP pump and alternator drivebelts on my BX Leader with

old-type 1400 ccm engine in due time. On alternator belt it is written

"Gemini", but I doubt it is original. HP belt doesn't even have any visible

inscription. Any recommendations brandwise? What brand Citroen recommends?

My front spheres are 95 630 572 (500 ccm, 55 bar, 1.8 mm bore). As my car is a BX 14, according to Replacement spheres table at BX DIY site

(http://www.tramontana.co.hu/citroen/suspens/suspens.html) it should have had 95 564 253 (400 ccm, 55 bar, 1.8 mm bore). Does this means that mine are not original? Is there any difference in ride confort? Does anybody who owns (or have owned) BX 14 has (or had)these small spheres and what are the experiences?

Hi Brana,

the original brand for these belts is hutchinson, made in France.

the original sphere for all BX 14 is 95 564 253. The only difference to 95 630 572 is 100 ccm, according to the higher engineweight of BX 19, espacially BX Diesel.

You can feel a difference, the 500 ccm one is a little bit softer, than the 400 ccm one.

The best ride comfort is the 500 ccm one, with 60 bar.
