23. November 200223 J. I noticed a reference in Haynes BX workshop manual concerning Econoscope (Chapter 2A, item 7.7 and accompanying picture). I heard that the third button from the left on the Mk 1 dashboard (next to the "eye" button) activates it. So, what happens when it is pressed? In my manual, there is no reference to this feature (that should be standard on all 14 models, I'm told) and so far I thought that this button has no function. Regards, Brana
23. November 200223 J. Hello Brana, I know the econoscope from my GSA and it measures only the "negativ pressure" (I don't know the english word for "Unterdruck") at the carburator. So you can activate it with your right foot. Normal driving is showing nothing, if you press a little more, there is a orange light in the dashboard, and more, there comes a red light. That's all. I don't know whether it's the same in the BX. Best Regards Bernhard
