Greetings from Offshore Europe(!)

I have owned my HY for 6 years now. I have found much excellent technical advice here, to help keep my HY rolling. Many thanks to you all.

The exhaust was almost new when I bought my HY, it has never fitted correctly. I have modified it and yet it still does not fit well. The time has come to think about a replacement exhaust. It is now quite rusty.

I have read about the problems discussed here with the new replacement exhausts, they look similar to the original exhausts on the outside, but on the inside they are quite different. It is said that the original exhausts perform better and are much quieter. A quieter exhaust would be great!

I notice that this exhaust from Der Franzose is advertised as being complex, like the original. It is almost twice as expensive as the one that is currently fitted. Has anyone here tried this exhaust? Is this exhaust recommended? Is there a better one that is available?

i did not use/mount it - its in stock, but it looks good and i guess it fits well - on my u23.....
its a better quality, means thicker metall, than the original one -with the same size and fittings...
- they have exhausts for HY/HZ, too
