I have recently had access to some Xantia service info, which lists a Xantia 2.5TD, and a 2.2HDI also with Activa suspension, probably as tests for the XM series II and the C5 in the later case (too bad the Activa suspension did not get carried over!). I have seen a 2.1TD estate Xantia Activa myself - something that is not supposed to exist. This one was sold in Switzerland to a long time Citroen customer. These days I drive a Xantia 2.0HDI - although a fine car in it's own right, it's no XM and I would trade it for a 2000 or 2001 XM 2.5TD in a nanosecond - it is also special being one of the first made. It's steering and brakes are from the Peugeot 605, which gives it a rather large steering radius (larger than the XMs!) but also top notch brakes, rotors are about 20% larger than standard and pads almost twice as large. 19. November 200421 J. Mir sind diese Modelle zwar auch unbekannt, aber es gab immer wieder ungewöhnliche Prototypen. Manche kamen auch mal in private Hände, z.B. geisterte mal ein BX Coupe hier im forum rum. Weitere Beispiele ungewöhnlicher Citroens: CX Serie 2 mit V6 als XM Erprobungswagen DS Coupe mit V6 als SM Erprobungswagen C5 mit breiterer Spur und ca 10 cm längerer C-Säule, vermutlich C6 Erprobungswagen Ein Activa Kombi oder der 2,2 HDi im Xantia paßt genauso in das Schema. Gruß Nachtrag: XM mit Maserati Motor, das paßt irgendwie nicht. Anfang der 1990er gehörte Maserati zu De Thomaso oder Fiat, daher eigentlich keine Verbindung zu PSA. Maserati war da schwer in der Bitubro-Phase, als V6 bis 2,8 Liter, als V8 mit 3,2 Litern Hubraum. Der V8 wird kaum in den XM gepaßt haben... Und einen 3,0 V6 gab es bei PSA, wenn auch mit weniger Leistung.
