I am sorry, because I am writing in English. I have one big problem and I think, that your community is the last one, that can help me.

I have Citroen Xantia 2.0 16V year 2001 and I have a problem with Broken left front window lifter or in german language "Fensterheber".

Actually only plastic part is broken. Here is the link to the pictures:

I asked at the Citroen servis and they told me, that this is common error, and I can not get only the plastic part, which is broken,but I should buy the complet "Fensterheber" with electro motor etc. But this is VERY expensive for me ... more that 370€.

Can you please help me and told me if anyone knows, where could I get only this plastic?

I searched www.ebay.de for plastic and for complet used left front "Fensterheber",

but there is impossible to buy it.

If you have any suggestion how to fix this (glueing will not work, I allready try it) please let me know. I would certanly buy it.

I am very glad that I found this forum, I will certenly be part of this community.

Let me just say, that me and my father are great Citroen fans for more that 30 years and owners of:

- XM 2.0i injection year 1990

- XM 2.0i 16V year 1999

- Xantia 2.0i 16V year 2001

- Xantia 2.0 Hdi year 2001

They all work perfectly and they ride GREAT.

X 1 und X2 haben verschiedene Konstruktionen.

Weiß jemand, ob sich der gesamte Mechanismius des X1 in den X2 einbauen läßt ?

I have the same problem. I have Citroen Xantia 1.9 TD year 1998 with a comfort mode mechanism. Only plastic part is broken for me too.
